Sa’eed Is A Retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major. He Is A Graduate Of The Sergeants Major Academy Class 57, And Completed A Distinguished Military Career Spanning Over 30 Years Of Service. The SGM-A is the premier professional military education (PME) institution focused on providing the Army with agile and adaptive senior enlisted leaders.
He Honed His Skills In Suicide Prevention While Serving In Leadership Roles During Deployments To The Persian Gulf War, Somalia, And Two Tours In Operation Iraqi Freedom. Following His Retirement Ceremony In October 2014 At The United States Military Academy, West Point, New York, He Led S4L Entertainment & Sports Management LLC—An Event Planning Company Which He Founded In Hudson Valley NY That Delivers Essential Holistic Health, Wellness, And Community Entertainment Services To Military Members, Veterans, And Their Families.
Post Military Retirement, Sa’eed Made History By Becoming The First African-American Elected As A Councilman In The Town Of Highlands NY. In That Capacity He Has Served All Members Of His Hometown For Three Consecutive Terms.
He Is Also An Author And Public Speaker, Addressing Topics Such As Managing Stress And Anxiety In His Book Resilient Transition. Selected As A 2020 New York State Veteran Hall Of Fame Inductee By Senator James Skoufis, Saeed Has Devoted His Life To Serving Military Members and Advocating For Veterans, First Responders, And Their Families.
He Has Completed A Masters Of Social Work Degree At Columbia University In May Of 2025, and Is Currently Pursuing A Masters of Human Resources Development At Webster University.
