SGM (ret) Linda Kessinger

Secretary

Linda is a retired Army Sergeant Major with 32 years of military service and currently resides in Seguin, Texas. She serves as the secretary for the Veterans Resiliency Coalition, contributing her leadership and organizational skills to support the coalition's mission.

Professionally, Linda works as a funeral director assistant with Goetz Funeral Home and Palmer Mortuary in Seguin. She is also an active board member of the Guadalupe County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where she helps promote Hispanic-owned and small businesses while supporting cultural preservation and educational outreach.

Linda is deeply involved in veteran-focused organizations, serving as a board member of the Seguin Elks Lodge and secretary for its Veterans’ Committee, which is dedicated to supporting veterans and their families. She also volunteers with Guadalupe County Crimestoppers, helping law enforcement solve crimes through community tips and anonymous reporting.

In addition to her community service, Linda is a devoted volunteer with Hope Hospice, where she is a member of the Honor Guard, supporting fellow veterans in hospice care. She is also actively engaged in her church’s kids’ program and visits a local orphanage monthly, offering care, love, and support to children in need.
